I think it's one of the most dangerous things I've done at work, you actually have to sign a checklist of all the PPE you have to wear before entering the room where the reactor is, and never alone, always with someone to double check the other's suit. Fun

| Considering the effect concentrated HF can have on the body as a result of even skin exposure, it's a good thing that safety is not taken lightly. Definitely one of the most dangerous substances a person can handle.
