haha, thanks for all the complements..
I just got back from shooting about 50 or 60 golfballs with the cannon, I cant believe I waited so long to start building these things!
this is honestly my first "real" gun, only other thing I have made was like 8 big soup cans aluminum taped together using lighter fluid to launch tennis balls.
ive been looking around at other designs from people on this site, the hybrids look pretty damn interesting. this hobby is like golf I guess, once you start you just cant stop
Thanks guys

I missed this one a little over a week ago. Not too shabby for the first time out....the electrical box/light switch thing is a hoot...
Neaten it up some, smaller boxed-up batteries etc. Your handle could be miniaturized some, smaller fan switch, blah blah, blah. You probably get decent power for a 1x combustion and medium-long length barrel.
Don't worry bout the DWV on this one, you'll be fine with it. Avoid the reducer bells in the future...use reducer bushings instead.
Welcome to Spudfiles! |

how can you tell the diff from dwv to pressure just by looking at the pics? im noob, so give me some tips/what to look for on this one
thanks |
Some of the fittings you used are only made in dwv form. |
Not true. Pressure rated bell reducers are very rare, but do exist.
Very nice for your first build, I do however see what you mean about the "sloppiness", I personally like to hide all wires, batteries, etc... but still it looks really good for a first. |
