This is my new co-axle piston gun i made mainly from Polly pipe but some peices are brass. one day on these long and boring hollidays i found i had a 1"-1/2" fiting that was threaded all the way through so i could screw on my barrel backwards and i thought OMFG i can make a piston so it took me about 3 days till i had it finished and fully operational.Although it can only shoot through 10mm plaster board i dont know why....
Infernal, he means increasing the pilot valve, not the pilot volume. A bigger valve will vent faster and improve performance. That looks like a fun little gun you have there.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
MrCrowley meant increase the size of the pilot valve to vent the pilot volume faster, not increase the amount of pilot volume.
@wannabie,
The higher-flow your pilot valve, the faster it will open your main valve, and the more power you'll get.
QEV's, pistons, and modified sprinklers are the "best" pilot valves, but are probably overkill for a gun this small.
Personally, I'd fully mod a blowgun (read around here...) or just use a ball valve (like a 1/2").
sorry for my bad english
