Hey guys,

I live in Aussieland and here in Aussieland we cannot purchase simple airsoft spring pistols.

I was wondering if people who come from countries who can buy airsoft could kindly post pictures of the internals of a simple airsoft spring pistol.

I was planning to build a spring loaded magazine airsoft springer but first i wanted to know what it actually looks like on the inside of a proper springer before i build one.

I have researched it on google but could not find any pictures, though I have a faint idea on how an airsoft springer works.

1. A picture of the piston
2. A picture of it with the magazine loaded in it when the slideback is removed...
3. Pictures of the magazine
4. And over pictures that will help me understand how the piston works.

And also just a noob question, I couldn't find a answer off spudwiki, but why does a BBMG need a plunger?

Sorry for being demanding

To help with feeding IIRC.

Already a little too demanding.

Piston is a simple metal disc w/ o-rings, which is powered by a spring.

Oh thanks for the AEG parts it's giving like gazillion speculations of a fully auto airsoft on this forum Very Happy

But i meant like one of those el-cheapo airsoft spring pistol, the one where you pull the slideback and pull the trigger, then repeat. Because i think i might be able to pull it off, even with the spring loaded magazine

wondering if someone could relink me to something so i can see the insides of a springer

thanks for your help Smile

Well actually, the hammer / piston (what ever's inside it) is quite simple, putting it together is a doodle in the face. Go on youtube ajdevi, and look for spring airsoft and find people who take it apart. look at the springer magazine, and if you got common sense you'll understand on how a simple springer works, i'm trying to find at the flea markets if they sell elcheapo springers, so i can take it apart and take alook whats inside, the problem is that I haven't got any luck so far Sad

Well if i do find one, i'll post the internals up, though it would be nice if a person who can buy airsoft post up what it looks like the internals, i've been looking for too long:(

though with that AEG idea, i finally think i can make an AEG, i just need the right gears and stuff Very Happy

yea ive already tried looking in the flea markets here in adelaide cant really find much, all i found was those suction cap guns and i tried to mod that which works but you need the perfect ammo. I have had a couple of topics on makeing and aeg , or should i say trying to make an aeg. JSR has made one ask him. heres a pic that someone made for me, im sorry i cant remember your name

i kinda want to make a springer first because when i finally make my protable cloud gun, i want to be able to have a backup when i run out of air / ammo,

yeah that was me who sent you that diagram, but i just totally realised how AEG's work now, its pretty much like those suction dart guns, just with teeths and gears.

well yeah i have a faint idea, if i manage to make it i'll be so happy, but can anyone post the internals for an airsoft spring pistol please?

Here is a homemade Nerf springer. It's not airsoft, but it's the same principle.

I'll actually use that principle to make my springer, because that "magazine" attached at the front of the pistol isn't actually to cumbersome, the only disadvantage is that i probably can fit about 6bbs per round (better than single shot... i guess),

I'll probably have a RAM stickin' instead of the more convenient slideback cocking system. Using the same piston and spring except with a bb size barrel instead of nerf dart barrel. the magazine will be similar, but i'll probably make it un-detachable to load it, just pull down the spring in the magazine and inside bb's in the bottom hole.

All I need now is to find a good spring, but where can i find a good spring? Anyone from Aussie know where to buy a good one and not one online please, I'm still 15... and your ideas on this adjevi92 if your still watching this topic

Well enough reminisciencing, time to go to the drawing board!
