England is notorious for expensive and hard-to-get PVC pipe and fittings. I would make a combustion over a ball-valved pneumatic.

Though a mini copper pneumatic would look very nice.

It's your choice, if Knoobill wants to make a combustion let him make one guys.

If you do know how to solder/use epoxy I would recommend making a mini copper pneumatic. England is notorious for huge supplies of copper and rather cheap QEV's.

Indeed it will be made of copper, I wil have to check the availability of the sizes I am looking for... (plans are a bit crude indeed Razz )
now fitted with a 5cm fan, total chamber volume is 3 times the barrel plus the approximate fan's volume.

I wouldn't think a metal combustion is a better idea, as the body would betterabsorb some of the heat of the ignited gasses and therefore lower your pressure somewhat.
