Thats my potato cannon constructed from 1ft of 3 in pvc pipe for the chamber
with a direct propane injection system and a bbq sparker for the ignition
Main ammo: potatos of course and insides of golfballs(my friend works at a golf course so i can get all the chopped up rangeballs i want) and the occasional
the last shot is a picture of a blank fire with steel wool over the barrel
i use a screw on barrel for easy loading of projectiles I havent been able to get any real measurments of distance yet but Im sure its fairly far

cant wait for some nice weather to get some damage testing done

aren't the inside of golf balls a bunch of wound up rubber bands? a rubber band scatter gun, freak your friends out, make um think something spactaculer is about to fly out of the barrel, and the rubber bands, SYKE !!!

EDIT: great looking gun-would like to see video of it in action, i rate it a 8, impressive

some have solid inner cores kind of like bouncy balls

Edit: actually that was my baseball that fell apart, but i know some golf balls have the same type of core just more bouncy than a baseballs

Golf balls ARE fun to rip apart. I ripped the shell off and cut a slash in the side of the outer rubber band shell, and it went snap, boom. The inside is 1 really long rubber band wound like 500 times around. I also just realized that PVC can stand for my Pole-Vaulting Coach.

The ones that are designed to float (the ones at driving ranges) have solid inner cores. Its like rubber inside them.

yea the rangeballs i get have solid cores i have only seen one rubberband type and it was some old top-flite. the only video i have is of a cardboard box being penetrated by a wad of paper towel you cant see much just a pop then the next frame the box is destroyed. I wish i had a high speed camera

Different ball makes contain different things. The titelist (cant spell) balls contain layers of different materials, these I found are the best for launching.
