This video has a clogged up barrel, so it works but cant shoot bbs.:

My new update with a clogged up barrel and a barrel used to shoot the bbs:

So yeah actually I called this gun wrong> semiauto. I guess I didnt really get the concept of rate of fire. In the vid I reload with my hand. You only need to push the barrel forwards, then it loads and recocks. As this is really easy and can be done really fast I called it semiauto. I hope I cleared things up:) But yeah for a real semiauto check my lastest gun. The problem is that I am outa gas, so I cant make a loading magazine yet.

Hey thnx:) I think it has potential at higher pressures and for small caliber airguns. I am really impressed with my new piston though, but its harder to get multiple shots out of it. I was ganna make something like jacks autopiston. The problem is that I cant find a popoff valve in the shops and the project is pretty prizzy>30-50E The thing is, once I made it I still have to make a blowforward breech. So yeah its only half of the story. I might try to get ur fridge pump working though> it sounds really usable:)

I need to ask when you cock the gun and fire how does the air not come out while the barrel is still back contacting the hammer valve?

Did u see how there was a spring in the back, and a screw pushing into these 2 dots around it... the 2 dots are the O Ring.

the spring and screw is pushed into the O ring making it air tight, so the air doesn't flow out when u haven't pull the trigger, that's how it's semi-automatic.... the gif image should explain the rest

correct me if i'm wrong?

May I ask again when you fire the gun the back of the barrel hits the hammer but how does the hammer olny give off a short burst of air instead of all the air coming out?

I'm going to guess this one...

If u see in his construction videos, there is a spring, letting a short burst of air depends on how long u hold the trigger for? the spring on the barrel recocks the barrel forward, sealing of poppet valve... i'm going to assume, correct me if i'm wrong please XS

I'm also going to be making a pistol version of one of those gun's Ant's made. thought the air chamber is goign to be like 30ml... on like 120psi, i'm hoping for at least 20-40shots per air chamber

Keep dreaming 30ml 120psi 20-40shots I don't think so. Maybe 600psi.
BTW The spring on the barrel doesn't recock the gun he has to recock it manually.

I got 40-50 shots of a 1.5liter bottle at 7-8 bars of pressure. So yeah you need significantly higher pressure for so many shots on a smaller tank. The valve gives of a burst of air due to the spring and air pressure behind the valve. If the barrel spring is too hard the valve does stay open. So the barrel spring is not really'' strong. And no, the trigger pull doesnt have to do anything with how much air is lost or whatever. It just releases the barrel inorder for it to shoot backwards and hit the valve.

lol ur gun is awesome, i am going to make one like youres. it is going to be a m1 grand, and i will dedicate it to you. i want to make a rifle, with 160 psi operating pressures, but 5-12 shots more powerfull. it will use pre- pumped air chamber cartridges as well as clips. to charge it first you have to remove the air chamber previously used- using a screwable threaded chamber. you put it away for future use. then you pump up another chamber, which consists of a bike pump, copper pipe threaded ball valve. when its finished being pumped, screw it into the valve. slowly open the ball valve to allow the pressure to collect in the chamber and valve fire! It wont be airsoft but small caliber paintballs. i really would like to use it in a paintball match. later i will make a full auto machine gun, a lot like a german heavy mounted machine gun from ww2

peace out, im far out, dilweed

p.s. can you use a piston also?

coola! Good luck with building it:)
A piston is better for bigger caliber projectiles, my type of valve is better for higher effeciencyand smaller caliber projectiles. I am going to work on a precharged piston shell''

nice. i looked in thebnq, but i cant find any of the things i need- do you think it would be possible to make a single, high powered shot with a hammer valve. do they open fast and have a large amount of air flow

for single / high powered shots its better to go for a piston. My valves here are good for multiple shots (40-50 on a 1.5l 8bar bottle), with small caliber as the airflow is pretty limited. STILL it shoots at amazing speed. I think my guns are good for airsof battles, that was afterall my intention:) But yeah I am going for something special now as massa production'' is limited as it asks low price materials etc.
