On the topic of paintball barrels, .68 paintballs fit best in 1/2" SDR 21 pipe. The fit is perfect, the paintballs roll down the barrel easily, but there is no space between them and the walls.

Not wanting to sound dumb, but is that a common piece of pipe? If so I'm very interested.

It is not a very common peice of pipe, and though it is pressure rated, it is thinwall pvc. you would need to sleeve it in another pipe, to be sure that it is safe. I do not know what the best size is for sleeving that, though.

You don't have to sleeve. All it does is prevent cracking if it gets dropped or hit on something.

There is over 200ft sitting on the shelf at the closest Home Depot to me. It seems to be a pretty common size up here in Canada. Also, you do not have to sleeve it. My barrel is not sleeved, and it has held up very well. I tried hitting a scrap piece with a 3lb ball peen hammer, and the pipe did not crack or shatter. |

The pipe with the best fit is the 1/2 inch sdr pvc. Just look for the half inch pipe with thin walls and bring a paintball or two to the store to see it. I went to Lowes, and I found it!!! 10ft for $1.08!!!!!! Not even on sale!! Dirt Cheap! And 10 feet is more than enough for like 5 barrels!
