paintball gun?
Hey, I'm new to pneumatic cannons, I have built a few combustion spud cannons, now I'm quite keen to building a paintball gun. I've studied the wiki and PC guys's design and it all makes good sense to me. But the big question I have on my mind, is when I look at a real paint ball gun it, doesn't seem to have a chamber. How does it operate without a chamber?

Ok...
1: PCGUY is the admin around here. He only posts the cannons on other peoples behalfs to generate intrest and traffic to the site.(not trying to steal your thunder PC
)
2: PB guns use Co2 to power them. Which is at roughly 600-800psi depending on temperature. Normal air cannons on this site shoot at around only 100psi but because of the larger chamber they usaully generate a much higher FPS.

Sorry I just noticed this is in the wrong discussion. I meant to put it into pneumatics. Is it possible to move the thread?
So what you are saying is that they do have chambers, just much smaller ones. and If wanted to make a real PB gun I would need to make it out of something stronger than pvc so that it can handle 800 psi+.
I saw one dude on this sight with a super cool copper gun, that one had a chamber the same size or only slightly wider in diameter than the barrel. Has anyone made something similar in a semiautomatic?

It wouldn't be the one in my signature would it?
Anything could be made semi or full automatic as long as you've got the budget to keep up with the design and of course a good air supply.
