Have you been looking for a piston for your pnuematic cannon. Look no further than your PANTRY! I found a can of food that fits perfectly in 3" pipe. The only problem is that its either canned milk or pitted cherries. I mean how often does someone use those? Drain the can and youve got the hole already and fill it for weight if needed.
I w as digging through a drawer in my shop and I found an old rubber disc ,the kind you use for a peel and stick sanding discs , I bet it could be used in a c annon. Has anyone ever used one of these ?
I took one of my old rubber cleaning gloves and cut it up, it makes a perfect seal. I just have to seal it because it inflates into the barrel. I'm gonna fill the piston in with something.
i dont know if you have this shop in america but we have clark rubber here in australia which sells anything made of foam or rubber and they have heaps of different sizes and thicknesses as well
