Aluminum body and barrel..400 psi, etc etc. Solid neoprene piston, 2.5mm b ore.

It still needs a cap, grip etc to finish it off, but it works well.

You wouldn't belive the lengths I went to so I could see that picture.

Worth it for the lulz.

Can't see the videos, 2GB wireless broadband ain't great for videos.

Knowing your work inonickname, I've no doubts that it is quite impressive,

Also Ragnarok, I like your doubling up of words with tautlogy in your sig.

[edit]

[peeved tone] And now the damn pic works!![peeved tone/]

I've added a clear grip and a cap to it. I'll probably post pictures tomorrow.

Firing is 100% reliable and it held 400 psi for 10 minutes with ~0 psi drop. It could probably be stored in your pants pocket for half a day then fired, but no need tempt fate.

For anyone who has problems with penguns..keep at it, they work eventually.

Yep, I made my first working pengun today as well! But mine is held together with hot glue, has a barrel way too narrow to fit any decent projectile, and runs at 150psi. Oh, and did I mention it's ugly as sin? Very Happy

Ah. A hotlink blocked link. It's hard to spot those, as they load from cache when you post them, but they won't for other people. Short of a hard refresh each time you post images, it usually gets missed.

Song lyric, as a good proportion of my signatures are. (The song is "Maria", by Blondie - I make no apologies for my musical tastes.)

Nice penguin. This is becoming quite the trend...

Just a tip, when you're editing with Vegas and you stretch the clip out to slow it down, the sound pitch is not automatically adjusted, and you get the odd sounding audio found in your slow motion replays of the shots. To get the proper sound, right click on the audio clip, select 'Properties', and then check the 'Lock to stretch' box.

As the great Gippeto once said, Viva la revolucion!. Looking pretty slick inon, although the firing cap might look better and stealthier if it was painted.
