Most "liberals" arn't interested in the control of firearms.
(and technicaly, those who do arn't liberals. Look of the damn word.)

Not all conservatives are interested in loosening restrictions on firearms.
Take frik'n George as an example.
(ok, george might not count as a conservative. Whatever.)

Use correct terminology and call them "anti-gunners" or a related word.
Alienate fewer sympathetic liberals.
________

Nice pistol. What's the magazine capacity?
I'm not so sure about the "old ammo" excuse - you might want to check the headspacing.

On an unrelated note, do you guys figure it would be legal for a normal individual to manufacture some "washers" and a "odd hollow tube", and turn those over to a suitably licenced gunsmith for assembly into a silencer?
Of course, the tax stamp would still be paid.

Just wondering, because I've been considering (eventualy - a few years) getting one, and I don't really want to pay the 600-1000$, PLUS STAMP that they sell for.

You would probably try and get a threaded barrel and a threaded silencer so that it would aline right and the bullet doesnt hit it. I dont know but isnt building one illegal? It might not be if you have permission from the atf or what ever there called

i believe a class II license holder must make the supressor from scratch, i dont know at what point in the construction it becomes a legal supressor, but best not chance it.

the headspace is fine on my pistol, i say it was the old ammo because i had no problems with any new ammo using a one piece brass casing. the old ammo was 2 piece, and ruptured right at the seam.

the magazine capacity is 10 rounds, the magazines are nearly identical to the Ruger and Buckmark magazines, so i'm thinking i could get one of the speedloaders they advertise for the Ruger magazines to work on my S&W mags.

you should check out www.garysguns.com and order some tracers or something, not if there illegal where you live, because the specialty ammo that they carry is really cool

i can always pick up some tracers and such whenever a gunshow comes around, and theres usually one every month or so. to me tracers and such are more of a novelty, not something i would shoot often, especially due to being a fire hazard at the range

oh, you can get them at gunshows? i thought that they were pretty hard to find............ i think it might be illegal, but me and my friend went to the local range and shot some armor piercers out of his semi-automatic .22 at a bullet proof vest that i bought at an army-navy surplus store. i just think that armor piercing are illegal in any sizes that can be shot out of a handgun. hmm not sure on that one, but why the hell did you shoot it at a bullet proof vest? they're like 300 dollars for a crappy one, unless you're talking about an older flak vest, they're pretty cheap.
