Before Mods

Heres the new pics, now sporting Trigger Guard,Telescoping Stock+ LED Light

The New Look,Much More comfortable shooting!!

LED Lighting, works great+ very bright( cheapy light though)

Trigger Guard

Stock Goes in.......

Stock Goes out..........

Pics make the gun look pretty glossy due to the flash but it's really not that glossy at all,its Satin but much more matt in appearance than the pics.

ohhh I've been out for two weeks or so becasue of work and when I get back I see this Shocked nice...

it really looks like steyr AUG... I don't like the way it's internals are built (meaning it could have higher mag capacity - if it had it it would be ideal)

ohh and you could put the pilot vavle more to the front.. I think the gun would be more comfortable to handle and shorter (plus you won't need to add a stock)

Mate the 9mm bbs are 20c a shot,so the small mag is a good idea (financially) anyways Im happy with it Very Happy . I shot some hard Soup cans tonight and the bbs sailed right through them like butter, but distance was only like 6 meters as im shooting in my back room and its LOUD!...............

Guys, Ive been firing the Semi tonight on Co2 and for some reason it wont rapid fire well at all running co2!?,on compressor air you can put out all 7 shots as quick as you can pull the trigger and at full power. On using co2 the first shot is full power, the rest are weak!? but if you give a second between shots it runs ok is this something to do with the co2 being denser than the compressed air?.

I plan on making a 6mm version but will use a longer mag capacity and try figure out a better semi auto feeder because with this one you cant run more than 120 psi or so? without it double or tripple feeding. The ball detent cant hold back the bbs above that pressure even though the detent spring is pretty strong and wound right down( tension wise).....

How cold was it where you were shooting the gun, or where the CO2 was stored beforehand?

CO2 cools as it expands from a liquid to a gas.

As it cools, the flow and pressure will drop off. Try keeping your CO2 bottle in a slightly warmer location

The 20 oz co2 bottle was just in my back room, but yeh its pretty cold tonight, gun was also being shot indoors in said back room.Mind you I had been running off numerous shots before the rapid fire testing, still need to get some footage done of the gun in action but the wife doesnt want me to for fear of the footage being traced by Aussie police and a raid on my house Shocked ............

Hm the problem with your co2 is beacause the co2 has to tank normal temperature again... Thats why in most co2 airsoft guns when you shoot with a semi you shouldnt waist all your rounds by trying to rapid fire it.. unles your just plinking around... for a powerfulshot with co2 you should wait some time between shots to get a good shot everytime Very Happy

BTW very nice gun dude I love the handle... how'd you get that cool patern?? And I love the stock you added... looks kinda bulky... yet so awesome Very Happy good build man looks like your having some fun plinking around Twisted Evil

The Handle I was extremely lucky to get from work,Its a controll handle from a bulldozer that I knew was perfect for this application Very Happy ,Gun is indeed bulky because of the sheer size of internals but was the best I could do. I plan on a smaller 6mm version but not until I figure out a better semi feeder that will handle HIGH pressure without double feeding? still havent figured out how yet and thanks for the help/comments guys.........

well I have to second that... seriously I'd love to see it in action... preferably. against some targets to get the idea of power you can get from 9mm ball-bearings

well it's difficult to get the idea of power if all you've got is a bunch of numbers from GGDT...
something like 30J or 150m/s doesn't really tell you much

besides 9.65mm seems to be ideal for practical reasons... BBs bigger than that are pricey and heavy while smaller ones offer low power and often cost even more than 9.65mm (because they are rare)...

6mm or 5.56mm seem to be pretty common (which means they are cheap as well) but they seriously lack power

you know, price wouldn't be a problem on a gun that fires one round per minute but as ROF increases this starts to be a major problem so it's not that you can just switch to different ammo right away

over one year ago I stated that something close to 10mm should be ideal I hope it wouldn't take me another year to finish it.. lol my projects take a long time to finish... but you know what's that like, right ? Wink
