I've seen that one a few times. Wonder if he lost his hand?
Anyway, my friend Martin Stearn and his pal Zach also though about makeing a bottle bomb only we used hydrochloric acid (sold as muritic acid in pool stores) and chlorinating tablets. My "girl" friend was also going to watch and I warned her to stay at least 100 feet away when it explodes and that the fumes produced by the reaction could be harmful or make you sick.
Well, the next day, she told me that one of the bombs did not go off and both Martin and Zach went to check the bottle. She warned them that I told her the fumes could make them sick but they went and opened up the bottle anyway. Both of them started gagging right when they unscrewed the top. (Chlorine Gas ?) |
