Pneumatic Precalc Project

Overview of the pilot
Filling System Overview

So our PreCalculus teacher decided us to give us a project on linear regressions the other day and told us that we could use any data that we wanted. So after a little bit of thinking, I figured it out. Why not compare the linear correlation of predicted and actual velocities at certain temperatures. With a little bit of GGDT work, this project should go off without a hitch.

As to the dimensions, I'm not exactely sure... i'm guessing the chamber is around 18 inches of 2 inch pipe, and the barrel is around 30 inches of 1 inch pipe, for about a 1:1.3 ratio.

The filling system is simply a regulator hooked up to a quick connects, with the rear port connected to the chamber and the side port plugged. It should give me quick consistant measuring. And yes, I do realize that I need to make a barrel support for it. That'll most likely get done when Precalc, Physics and AP HIstory and AP English stop owning my life.

AS soon as I get my GGDT specs up here with a C Cell battery as ammo, I'll post up predicted velocities up here. And besides, even if the project is a failure, i'll get big points for originality. Razz
