Okay, after searching spudfiles and the internet for a while I cant find what size pvc I could use for .40 caliber darts/paintballs. And since the darts are still coming via the mail I cant take one to the store with me to size it.. Any input would be great. Thanks! |

| 3/8" Sch. 80 has an inside diameter of .423" and 3/8" Sch. 40 is .493" both should work just fine. |

.093" gap?!
*measures out .046" on the calipers, and proceeds to bewilder family by proclaiming "It's huge" and waving the calipers in their faces*
The sch 80 is a good bet, and will be stiffer (improtant in tubing that small).
Mcmaster should carry it, and shipping shouldn't be too bad. |

You must mean "SDR 13.5" which wouldn't work very well. The inside diameter of even 1/2" SDR 13.5 is .72" that would leave a .32" gap.
EDIT:
Yes, you can use sch. 80 pipe with sch. 40 fittings, but use the pressure rating of the sch. 40 fittings. |

That would be for .68 caliber paintballs...
As for a .40 barrel, why not JB Weld a regular blowgun barrel to a threaded plug or cap and use it that way?
Or sleeve the blowgun barrel in SCH 80 and load up the gap, which would be very small, with JB Weld. |
