19/32 is what you want.... 1/2" will be way too small...

1/2" bbs are 1/2" bbs - that is they should be 12.7mm

measure the exact ID of your barrel and substract the diam. of ammo from the ID of the barrel... if it's larger than zero then it will fit in it Very Happy

lol it's just one of those threads that proves that imperial units are no good

and why not? Metric units are way better. I live in Michigan, USA and I PREFER metric units.

Think of it this way.
1''=2.54cm or 25.4mm
So 1/2''=(25.4)/2 or 12.7mm. so, a 12mm ball would fit okay. and a 13 would be to big.

Although, thats assuming 1/2'' pvc has an ID of 1/2''.... which it does not.

Like stated before... 1/2'' pvc is ROUGHLY .6'' ID so.

0.6*25.4=15.24mm

So, for MOST 1/2'' pvc... the ID is 15.24mm get yourself a 15mm ball bearing... and use a sabot.

EDIT:

Seriously, when someone helps you... be nice to them, or soon, no one will help you. Also, we here on spudfiles will not spoon feed you answers. Use google and don't be lazy.

You will not be taken seriously around here until you show at least a little bit of effort.

Well as far as i'm aware, this topic was resolved in the 4th post... Rolling Eyes
I think you just ignored it or something, becaue every other post was kind of saying the same thing. If you know the I.D of your barrel, then you will know if the ball bearing will fit. If you don't know, look at a chart or measure it yourself. You don't need a tool anymore precise than a ruler to do this.

Not mean per-say, you just chose to ignore the answers given to you, because you apparently did not want to go find a ruler.

Unless of course, you were asking for the diameter of the ball bearing, which in that case... is usually with in a few thousands of an inch of what it is listed as. aka: 1/2'' bearing would be in the 0.495''-0.505'' range.
