First off , you guys that make how-to posts I want to thank you. If it weren't for you I would be stuck building combustion cannons (which my stun gun ignition is nice thank you) . Now on to the Rainbirds. I read on this website how to mod sprinkler valves, so I went to Lowes and bought one. 3\4 " Rainbird for $14. This was very easy to modify, if you read all the modding post on this site. I built a blowgun\paintball\potato rifle. I shoot darts and .40 caliber paintballs out of one barrel and potatoes out of another(well I havent actualy haven't fired potatoes yet). The darts fly very fast at under 40 PSI. Yesterday I drove 3\4 of a 16 penny nail into a two by four, at 5 feet away and 80 PSI. Maybe I'll post some pictures , I don't know.
Be sure to take a few thousand pics so everyone can yell at somthing you did wrong...
Kidding!
Have you ever tried shooting a bunch of pellets at once to make a shell?
I decapitated a watermelon like that.
It's far from perfect. My design for the butt-stock is jacked up, I didn't take into consideration how much higher it would be than the barrel. It messed up my plan to put sights and or a scope on it. I might just salvage the sprinkler valve and barrel and start from scratch. Then if I do that, I'll definitely take and post some pics so you guys can joke on me.lol
And no I havent. Please explain exactly how you decapated the innocent watermellon and I will try it.
