Those look like V-MAX bullets use in preision cartridges used for varmint hunting. Those are really nicely made and he did a great job!

CNC is Computer Navigated Cutting. It is pretty much a computer controles lathe that makes parts from CAM (computer aided machiening) drawing.

Oh, they have one of those at the college here. I would never be allowed to use it though. Those things are super cool!

There is a problem with your write up reaper. You said you used a 20 PSI mux of actylene and OXY. The actylene and OXY mux self detonates ar ~15 PSI. There for I don't think you used that mix in the cannon. On top of thatwhere is the gauge to tell you the pressure?

Very nice job. (And yes, there is a reason this is the only build I have commented on in months.)

wow, just seeing this has made me want to start building again. the first cannon ive seen in a long time that brings me back to the good ol' days when people took time and effort to make their cannons worth while. i might actually take some time and make a new cannon now. thank you reaper. Very Happy much respect.

He might not reply to this but how is the sparkplug attached?I have searched around and asked at auto stores if there is a special type of tap used but it was to no avail.Or was it just welded in place?

mine is just welded in place (mistake cause its a pain to clean the damn thing) but you can buy a plug that has a sealing ring attached to it so that when you tighten it the ring squishes and seals. you can also buy little copper rings that do the same thing for regular spark plugs, you can buy them at the same place where you got the spark plug and if not look at the local auto parts store. also there are taps you can buy for spark plugs, and for some plugs the tap is just a regular one (sorry cant remember the size)
