_Fnord and i have been talking about a possible meet. We both dont live to relatively far from each other, i think its 2 hours.
I live in Cleveland, Ohio, and he lives in Libson Ohio, which is close to Columbus. We plan on having this possible meet at his place, because its large area of land, and my place really isnt.
The time would be in June. It would last for a few hours, but not really going to be long as well.
And obviously you would bring one, or more, of your cannons with you.
So this is still being considered, and details are yet to come if this meeting can be confirmed with a time and date.
So anyone in ohio that is not relatively to far interested?
P.S. Anyone who is not registered in the spudfiles member map is encouraged to do so, so that IPLA meetings can be easier to have, and to discover local and or regional spudding members. |

| I'm in the Cincinnati area, but I'm on vacation most of june plus my parents probably wouldn't drive me or anything. Its a cool idea, too bad I won't be able to come. |

Well we can always see if we can do it some other time in the summer.
Remember, i this is not for sure yet so scheduling can be rearranged. Just tell me when you are available and ill see if we can possibly have it when you have time.
And why cant your parents just drive?
Are they the kind of parents that wouldnt want you to do this kind of hobby, especially with other people? |

EDIT: actually Lisbon is a lot closer to Pittsburgh than it is to columbus. |

1. I don't think there are two Lisbons.
2. it's Lisbon, not libson
3. The map wouldn't let me put the marker where I wanted it, so it's off by maybe 100 miles.
4. I've typed "Lisbon" so many times it doesn't look like a word anymore. |

The member map is a map that shows where you live in the world. Just click it and add yourself. |

Hmm then it might take you some time.
Do you remember where (in Ohio) and how long it took you to get to Ohio last time? |

About 6 hours to ge to Toledo -- I'm in a suburb west of Chicago. I could care less how long it takes me, but if you're only meeting up for 2-3 hours and not an all-day thing, then I may not wanna go. |

Yea i told _Fnord that it should be a few hours but in your case, since your driving and gas in just climbing, i wouldnt mind having it just about the whole day (Morning to mid-evening) because you want to get your money's worth, in terms of spending gas.
since this would take place at _Fnord's we just need his confirmation.
Then we can start scheduling a day if no one else wants to jump in.
You should stop by Cleveland before leaving (where i live) then i can show you around
And you might as well get something from mcmaster if needed because there is one near Cleveland (in Aurora). |

Sure that's cool, I'd totally go if it was an all-day thing. CF would surely be finished by then. |
