Post Bill memorial related things here.
If your not sure what this is about, a beloved member/moderator of SpudTech has passed on. You can read more about it here...
http://forums.spudtech.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10093
I believe this was the last we heard from him. Since this page over on SpudTech is not viewable by most members (it's in a mods only area), I decided to make a copy.
http://www.spudfiles.com/chewy.htm
This is the only cannon he ever submitted to me to be put up on SpudFiles.
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=77
I know he has some other things that he spoke only of on SpudTech and in emails, so if you have copies please post.
If you would like to say a few words, this is probally the place to do so. I am going to try to get a copy of this thread to Bill's family.
Thanks, PCGUY.

Bill was a really nice guy. He helped me and many other members figure out the basics of spudgunning when we were just beginning. He has also helped me out by providing some supplies that I can not find around here (2.5" sdr26, 3/4" sch120, 1/4" QEV), and he has also helped me in several concepts. He also pointed me to an auction for some nice 3" valves at a good price. I have yet to build a cannon with them, but once I do it will be dedicated to him.
For those who don't know, his nickname, chewy, was the name of his dog. He should be in one of the pics I will post.
I have 70 pics from him, so I'll just post the highlights. If anyone is intrested in more details/pics of a cannon let me know.

Mr. Plow here.
The hits just don't stop coming... First two of my closest friends die in May in a plane crash, and now one of the best online friends I've ever had passes away...
If it wasn't for Chewy, I know I'd never be as fond of pneumatic cannons as I am. He helped me with more cannon-debugging and enhancing issues than anyone. If it wasn't for Chewy, the CylBolt would not exist. Plain and simple.
Frankly, I'm devastated.

heres an email chewy sent me, and also 2 pics he included. i noticed in the 2nd pic that the female was DWV and the pipe is conduit.....
hi, i looked up the valves on mcmasters they are the right angel or L
type. 99.9 % of them are filled through the trigger port. They are
used on pistons or air rams like on pb guns to speed up the cycle
rate. I don't like them for spud guns because they are very sensitive
and when you unhook the air supply most of the time the fire. I prefer
the T type filling though the chamber is much faster and they don't
fire when you remove the air supply. you can ruin a valve by filling
it the wrong way. I included a couple of pics the small one is a 1.5"
that i modded it uses a 1/4 qev to fire it and is awesome with golf
balls the big one is a 3" . i was the first to mod this type of
valve. the valve tech at fluid power said it was impossible hehe. I am
working on a twin 3" valve canon. thats a 3/4 valve next to it and gb
inside to judge size. if you have any questions feel free to ask btw
that 3/4 is the mini version of the 1.5 mr plow has but with threads
have a good one Chewy

Hello,
I want thank all of you for the consideration you have shown to me during this difficult time. I really didn't know what was appropriate on your site but everyone has been very kind. We read several of the e-mails and/or posts at Bill's prayer service on Monday night. Many of his friends and family have gone on the Supdgun site and read the thread which related to him.
He was my computer expert so I am not too sure if this picture will get to you. He is in our back yard with our dog,
Chewy, in a coyote hat that I bought him for Christmas several years ago.
Once again,
Thank You,
Helen Vogt
