Well Iv taken the quick disconnects on my HP pump up to 350psi without leaking or blowing off although they will be replaced with hydrolic quick connects eventually. |
Note, I said working pressure, not burst pressure.
If I’m wrong I blame Bush, I figure every body else gets to do it…

Oh whoops sorry for the misunderstanding
Anyways Ill probably test the pressure they fail with the 600psi my HP pump can generate.
Though I do belive you are wrong on the working pressure, I have always thought that they are rated for 250psi but dont blame bush just yet because im not completely sure. |

I've taken a mini quick connect to 900 psi with no problems. I imagine the full sized one would fail at a lower pressure than a mini, but it's still probably above 900.
The schrader valves on my hybrid work fine (600+psi), but every once in a while they start leaking because of carbon buildup. Even then all you need to do is unscrew them and clean them out.
Also, the 11x hybrid tests exposed a schrader to 1000+ psi, and it still works fine. |

My hydraulic quick connect have a rated working pressure of 3000psi, but both the male and female sides leak badly if disconnected.
You could always use a ball valve to isolate the shrader from the chamber during firing if you're worried about it. That's what I do on my hybrid (although it's more to do with the quick connects leaking). |

Sorry, my mistake.
I really should be more careful about my posts when high pressure gasses are involved, at least this time I under rated them…
DYI, you might try putting some thick oil or grease on the seal surfaces of you hydraulic fittings, it may help. |
