hey i am about to (finally) get my hybrid parts.

there is one problem though. i am going to use 20foot 2" barrel and plan on taking it to the "car man" around and shoot some cars.

the barrel is two 10foot sections that is connected to each other with a machined metal ring "look at the pic" and the question is: how do i make this sit real hard but is still able to be disconnected?

i cant drive with 20foot of pipe on the roof.

Ratchet straps to 2X4s that can be pegged together on site, then easily disassembled for transporting. Hey, there's been a barn standing on this farm for aproxx. 140 years, it's pegged together, still standing strong! Get out the wood chisels and brace and bit.

Why not thread the two ends and thread the inside of a coupler?

cam lock wouldn't be strong enough... It would just break at those pressures/stress

If you can remove the metal rings you can use a steel flange. Strong connection and removeable.

I think the most plausible idea would be MaxuS the 2nd's...

It may be a little on the expensive side, but its easy and would be full-proof.

I think my idea would have the most reliabilits and safety though. Also spudfarm what is your idea, or are you keeping it under wraps.
