I think it is a good idea to open a "short question topic" in the cannon discussion area of the forum.
This will keep the forum clean.

Hahaha perfect I just wanted to ask a question but didn't want to make a whole topic for it...
Anyway the question(s) is regarding a mini coaxial design the chamber is made of copper and it is about 5 inches of 1/2" copper pipe. I was wondering what the best way for attaching the barrel to the gun, I might cast some epoxy but I don't think ill get a barrel 100% straight if I do it this way. Is there anyway to help center the barrel? I usually use polystyrene discs from cups when casting epoxy.
Also, does the barrel take a lot of stress inside the chamber? I want to use a piece of carbon graphite arrow inner tube as a barrel for this coaxial but I don't really think it will handle the pressure I intend to put into this plinker, do you think it will serve it's purpose as a barrel or will it give in when exposed to high pressures?
Thanks

| I would encase the barrel in some stronger tubing to enforce it. To put in the barrel, wrap it very tightly with masking tape then stick it in and use JB Weld or cast some epoxy all over the front of it, and you're good to go.

If I strenthgen it by sleeving it in something this will make the barrel diameter bigger, giving me less chamber chamber volume thus reducing power.
Hm I'll try and find some thin diameter tape to do this it sounds like a good solution

| The questions will/might be short but the responses of many will make the answers long...

| I wouldn't feel silly making a post just for a simple question. No matter WHAT you ask, different people are going to give their thoughts. They may say just "yes" and that's all that matters but they may type 2 paragraphs explaining why. It's hard to judge what a user will say in response to a question, especially when it's exposed to the entire Internet and someones response often triggers someone elses response to agree to disagree.

Does anyone know what kind of plug is in the picture? It connects to the back of my car headunit and for video in and AUX in, I called pionner thay wanted $80+ delivery, I just hung up on them, eBay has the plug for $45.
i know i could make it for $5 if i can get the plug.
A car audio forum as been useless so far.

You're in Melbourne right, go to these nice people. They'll have what you want, it looks like a fairly simple connector.
If they don't have what you're after, post again, I'll see what I can do, we share a state.

Gerry-rigging may be the only way to go, short of cutting off the connector and putting on a standard one.
I swear I've seen one before, I'll have a dig in the scrapyard shed tomorrow.
