I recently uploaded the 2.5 & 3 inch Ramset Nails that have been discussed previously in another thread.
2.5 inch is Ramset 1516, and the 3 inch is Ramset 1524.

Here is the latest 3D model available. The Dasco Pro Angle Finder.
It can be very useful for determining barrel angular elevation.
It could be mounted to a small piece of pipe that then could slide onto the barrel.
This would provide a portable method for several cannon/barrel combinations.

| I'm trying to model one of my creations, but I can't figure out what size the different fittings are. How do you tell? Also, why are some fittings like 7 feet long and some are the right size?

What fittings or models are you refering to?
Please give me an example and what template file are you using?
Dimply is the only one that is modeled in metric.
All the the others are in inches.
Get used to doing metric to inch conversions and inch to metric.
25.4 and 1/25.4 (.03937007) are the common scaling factors.

| Well, when I open Brass Ball Valves 1/4-3/4, they are enormous. Could it be because I'm running SketchUp 8?

Use Architectural inches format and it should be OK.
I use version 7 because version 8 does not have AutoCad import any more.

Even in Architectural inches, the 1/4" ball valve has an ID of 7 inches Sorry if I am missing something blatantly obvious.

The grid pattern is 2 inches as stated in the download information.
I noticed that it measures 24 inches rather than 2 inches.
Rather odd that it is exactly 12 times larger. I will research this.
You could try to scale all the valves to the 2 inch grid.
Have you noticed this on any other models?
