Yes. But it would be dumb to do that, quick connects are mostly 1/4". You can buy 1/4" male threaded schrader valves from a hardware store. Thread that into a male quick connect and it makes life a whole lot easier.
yes it is possable I have silver soldered one onto an endcap once, you just remove the insides then you solder the valve and when done put it back together
I'll agree with Heimo and Chinnerz. I've seen some brass quick connects for compressors...these could be used with a tire valve core (cleaned of rubber of course) and simply sweated together.
A good and easily workable solution to having a check valve on the "launcher".

if i had a better compressor i would, but the one we currently have only goes up to 135, and i have an electric bike pump that goes to 120 and is alot smaller so i usually use that.
