Can you replace the solenoid on the sprinkler valve to make it open as fast as a modded one but keep it electric?

The only thing i could think of is to enlarge the hole that the plunger seals, but then you might have problems (improper sealing, premature opening).

well, increasing the voltage might work, since the solenoid is kinda like a coil gun, you could try upping the voltage a bit if you want, but if you up it too much it might fry the solenoid, then you just mod it and go on your happy way Very Happy

work out the size of the plunger and drill out the hole that it seals as much as possible and also the the hole coming from above the diaphram as well
