I am not trying to disagree or "stand up for the hero", I just don't want such large assumptions to be made without hard (and readable) facts.

The use of non-pressure rated fittings on pneumatic cannons by SpudTech would be a shock to me as well.

Like it was said in a prior post, the adapters are machined thus removing the id's. One would have to be the person to buy it in it's original form to know for sure if the part got machined.

That looks like it could have been a stress fracture, like from it being dropped at the wrong angle. That particular location would have to bear a ton o' stress based on leverage and weight of the cannon alone.

Are you sure the guy didn't drop it or hit it on something....or was there a time when he wasn't with it, could someone else have been playing with it, little bro/sis maybe?

The location of this breakage just looks suspect to me...just unlikely damage from just air pressure forces alone. I suspect blunt force caused the fracture and airing it up may have finished it off.

BTW, you should edit the title to be "Spudtech" not "Spudtect"...
