I couldnt get my hands on any stell bearings so I either shoot really small fishing sinkers as a buck shot or a 16mm one that fits my Paintball 'Rifle'/smoothbore. Only bad thing is because they are so soft when you shoot them at metal the side goes flat So far ive only put a dent in 1.5mm thick steel.
oh, actually, I do shoot 1/2 and 3/4 inch ball bearings as buckshot. cuts plywood, and thin metal, such as garage doors, in half, or leaves them held together by small bits of metal.
you can kill someone with those steel balls............i would use paintballs....which still goes far and hurts like crazy...but is pretty accurate...but thats just my opinion hehe
i fired a 1'' marble and it bounced back, lucky I saw it comming sorta n moved back so it hit my in the shoulder instead of my neck. Still hurt like a [female doggy] n made my shoulder sorta numb.
