you read my mind, today i pulled out 2 small fans from a old pc but i have no room cause of the breech loading, if i used a 3" T it would work perfect

There's another coax [partial it looks like] combustion shoulder fire...these things are becoming the rage it seems. Nice detail work.
Metered propane need not be difficult...several options are available to you. Here's one I was showing rcman:

Anyway, snap the "hypo" in the propane system to charge it, disconnect and snap into your quick-connect on your gun, unload the contents, fire away. Starman i really like that design and i think that i am going to do that for my hybrid propane meter, is there really any difference compared to a normal fuel meter?
I like this because it makes the gun less bulky and more portable and you can use the same meter for different guns, its really a great idea, thx.

No difference, works the same way. Calculate the meter volume just as you would the 2 ball valve type...only this one uses the same valve to charge and discharge. Just set the regulator for the propane PSI you need...you can literally load one up in 5 seconds...pop it on, open/close the valve, pop it off....it's ready to go. Just keep an eye on the regulator meter that it stays the PSI you need...these can drift some, but not terribly bad.
Meter volume was really easy to measure, just fill with water and measure the water amount after emptying. I used a medical syringe as my measuring tool. This one you see holds 36 cc.
The meter "hypo" shown is only $6-7 each. Big advantage is the propane tank system is portable between guns, so only a one time cost for it. Actually, I like the 16 oz camping tanks of propane for these better than the long 14 oz Bernzomatic tanks.

Well now how about for a hybrid? How much are quick disconnects rated for? Cause i would like to take my hybrid up to par (5x-10x).
I would make this out of black steel, and i would put a schrader rather than a cap, so that i can push the propane through. But i have a question pertaining to SB15's air through meter. Since you put air in the meter, dont you have to add another atmospheric mix of propane through the meter, so that you can equal out the mix?
But its a great idea, i think im gonna take apart my current meter, and buy a quick disconnect and make this meter.

1000 psi or so. These things are designed to feed and hold back some serious air pressure. They are the standard connections that are used on air compressor outputs. You should be in good shape on any real world hybrid.
Re your question about air through the meter... Yes assuming it originally had all the air purged and was thoroughly propane primed, you would need to take into consideration an extra bar of propane in the meter.

electronic goldmine..
they have several electonic parts that most of us would love to have but are to expensive to buy at most stores.. i bought 6 fans (for chambers from them) for about 8.00 total.. and also.. i bought their surpise box the other day.. and let me tell you.. it is definately worth the 5.00 they charge for it.. purchased seperately what is in it.. i would say is aroun 80.00.... you have to check out their site.. and look att the stuff man...
they reason why i happen to be rambleling on like so.. is cause i seen where some of you said to put a fan in this guys gun.. and they are like 17.99 at radio shack.. this electronic goldmine has the exact same fans.. which i have now.. for 1.00 to 3.99 each..
why pay more.. when you can pay less..
just let me tel you though they are on their "own schedule" it seems as if they take forecer to mail your stuff.. so you have to wait for it..
but its quality brand new goods.. at a really cheap price..
well worth the look at mates..

Scottcrete, can you give us a url? But from the looks of it sounds like a good website, because i dont get that much money either so this would be a big consideration for me.
