Holy crap! I just found this video of some guys shooting a golfball cannon... at cars and trucks on the freeway! They also shot a bilboard, a lake, and one shot richocheted of of a wall and hit the guy who shot it. They must've been drunk or something...
ya these guys are stupid. they are useing a bike pump instead of a air compresser i mean come on bike pumps are a waist of energy lol . you have to be drunk, physcotic, on drugs, and stupid to shoot someone elses car. its ok to shoot your own though.
dude if i could find these guys i would punch them in the face! Hey you guys look like u know your rock music, whats the song on Jackass when Bam ans Brandon are in the shopping carts and and Brandons got a pumpkin on his head whats the name of that song again? i think it might be by CKY, i dont know could one o u help me?
Just another example of how people abuse their power. The funny thing is that this is probably not too unnatural. A large majority of people I showed the cannon to said "Can you kill someone with it?" or "Dude, lets shoot that at someone." All it takes is one relatively smart person to fall to peer pressure and say "OK, lets do it". Just be glad to know that truly smart people are hard to come by.
Yeah these are the kind of people that ruin it for all of us. Good thing that people this stupid generally arent capable of making spud cannons, or bad things would happen a lot more often!
In my opinion, those guy's are no better than those kids who drove around shooting people with paintball guns and spent 4 years in prision. If one of those golf balls hit a car, window, driver, or passenger, depending on the driver reaction there could have been a pile up.

I hope that cannon miss fires and they blow an arm off or something! not to wish harm onto others but they deserve it! theres not even any remorse or anything when the shots land on the free way? Golf balls could kill someone at 100mph!! or even the accedent that it could cause!
Very irresponsible and deplorable behaviour, not to mention they were brilliant enough to not only film themselves breaking the law, with faces clearly visible, but they posted the evidence on the internet.
Jack this sorta behavior is totaly unaccetable. Even thoe we build cannons and can do silly things with them we choose not to. How in the hell can they belive that there actions would be accepted by our community as spud gunners and in general as a hobby? I just dont get it mate?
It's a matter of attitudes, there are those like most on this forum that take a scientific interest in spudguns as a hobby (and enjoy blowing a few things to smithereens on the way, in a safe, controlled environment ) then there are those who see them as just another tool of anarchy.
It's the same with firearms, cars, knives, almost any mechanical device can be used and abused in the wrong hands.
Hey dont get me wrong i love nothing more than to see if i can get a penitrating hit on a car door using a beer bottle. but there is an over ride that stops me from doing something that would or could harm others? I sapose its my millatery training that steps in! I'd never miss use a car or a fire arm its just plain stupid! Oh yeah thats the name of this thread? Oh well bugger it!
