Hey yall this is my first pneumatic I built. Pretty simple, 2 4" x 5' tanks, 2 ball valve piloted 1" sprinkler valves into either a 2" x 10' or 2.5" x 8' barrel. It will put a trailer hitch ball clean through an oil drum and is a blast with tennis balls
Let me know what yall think

Nice gun I really like the paint job... How far can it send a projectile and what kind of damage can it do?

| Is that a bell reducer because that is extremely dangerous

Thanks guys, sorry for the lack of damage pics, i'll try to get those up asap
Like i said, it put a hitch ball through an oil drum at work and for distance, i can only guess. The highest I brought it to was 95 psi, and I shot a 2" allthread stud 350+ yards before it hit a tree. Its a lot of fun especially when i would strap it to the top of my jeep to carry it to the farm. Defifintely got a lot of double takes going around town.

It looked less than 2" and i wedged it into a chaulking tube with som duct tape and some litium grease to help it slide real nice with a tight fit. It was a stud i pulled from a compressor block at work It was about 8" long so it had some purdy good momentum
And yeah the bell reducers. I'm taking this one apart anyway and at the time i built it, i didnt know about the dangers of those, but thanks
and thanks for the compliments!

Its too bad because its a nice looking cannon...Honestly I like the look of the bell reducers even if they aren't the safest....not that I am suggesting one should use them. I made that mistake on my first combustion. I still use it so if you here about some dude killed by a bell reducer exploding you know who it is

Haha I hear that
Yeah thanks, it is a shame, I spent a long time on the paint, but the cannon it will help make will still use the same paint scheme, both valves, but will be a more portable coaxial model. This thing is just hard to move and although I like the long tanks, its not needed. Shorter recharge time = more fun!

| I would change from the sprinkler valves to piston valves...It makes a big difference in performance. I'm making a large cannon of my own that is similar in design... only bigger....

| I agree the piston valves will come in time. Its about that time to go sit on the floor in the plumbing isle in home depot and start dreaming

very nice
but you used DWV and the sprinkler are constricting flow like mad
im sure the DWV has already been metioned so i wont get into that but the sprinklers are really limiting the power.
make two large piston valves and put them on, your power increase will be amazing
but uif you ignore those two things then i really like it
nice paint job by the way
