| There should be a trophy wall of all the award winning cannons. Of course they would all be Ghetto awards, but it's a start. |

Soooo, what kinds of awards should there be??? Here are 3 ideas for new awards.
The Rube Goldberg award (for overly complex guns)
The BFG award (for guns like the SWAT gun and the basketball gun)
The Size Doesn't Matter award (for small, ultra powerful guns like Brian the Brain's sawed off and killa's/urban ninja's pill bottle hybrids) |

A trophy wall would be a great idea, mabey having spudbux for awards when there is a winner
awards for paint job, aesthetics, power, size, ingenuity....just to name a few  |

What are the mods into, each can give a different award. I'm betting the Technical award would be a tough one to get. Only the truly deserving would get it.
Sgort gives the "Ghetto award"?
Pimpmann can give the "Technical award"?
Pcguy gives the Most Advanced award for this era of spud guns.? |

Well hey I admit thats a good idea. The simple notification via a 'Trophy wall' will endorse builders regardless of any physical items they may receive. I would believe a plot on the 'trophy wall' to be a of greater worth then that of spudbuxs. As spudbuxs from the moderation, and admin standpoint are of a limitless resource. Also awarding such feels kinda wierd. I mean giving you something I/we have of limitless resource of, in return for your services is just wrong. I would rather give you some credit for your actions.
Let it be known that a contest is being organized. For the most part, such will take a similar form, to that of the past. Although I have yet to talk with the moderation staff as to the 'frequent' of such contests, I think having such things 2-4 times a year would be great. |

I'm deliberately not showing my cannon or declaring it finished until the next competition comes round 
The Engineers award for design and construction.
It would have to have some significant form of originality in it, demonstrate build quality, ergonomics, mechanisms etc... to qualify.
A Draughtsmans award for design and successful demonstration of an original idea but not actual construction of a full cannon from it.
A Mach 1 trophy for breaking the sound barrier (need video evidence)
A Dolby Surround Sound award for making a godawfully loud cannon (wonder how that can be checked....)
A Bonsai award for the best micro cannon
An Artists award for best painted cannon (has to be more than one colour and not just block sections of barrel = red, chamber = blue, has to be inventive)
An Innovators award for creative use of non-typical parts or mechanisms in their cannon. |

| Well I believe for the time being we should simply call the categories as they are, not finding something of similarity and name it that. As this will create confusion, and there is no real need for it. |
