Ok i finally am going to show off my creation
Specs
Chamber - 2 3" x 13" inch chambers
Valve - 2 modded lawn genies (yes they have guiderods but i removed them)
Trigger - actuated by 150psi blow gun
Fill valve - quick disconnect
Gauge - 300psi its all i could find
Extras:
- both chambers filled at once
- 125psi safty pop off valve
Barrels:
The female adapter is 1-1/2" so i got..
1.5" 2 feet long with a 4.5 extension
SDr21 used to be 10 feet cut it down to 5.5 and now the golf balls go like 3 times as far
2" barrel for caulk tubes with a 6.5 barrel extension
to tell you guys the truth i rarely ever shoot spuds out of my cannon i feel bad haha
Distance:
potatoes - no idea never can find them
caulk tubes - 150 - 200 yards
inside of golf balls - 770 feet or257 yards i measured all the others landed off in the woods so i cant measure it
Golf balls - well im guessing they go like 300 - 400 yards because i have shot them straight up like 80 degree angle on a slightly windy day and they went at least 200 yards forward
ive shot allot of other stuff but either never found it in my field or i didn't bother to measure
well i made this about a year ago and spent like 150 or so on parts and such and took me like 2 weeks to make because i either didn't have all the parts or something but i could put the whole thing together in like 2 hours and the paint job was recent tell me if you like it its primer gray and some red color. I think my cannons pretty nice for my first ever spud gun.
heres some pics
the top one is my 1.5" barrel i ran out of spray paint lol
2- 1.5 4.5' barrel extension
3- sdr21 golf ball barrel
4 - 2" 6 foot barrel extension
Damage Pictures. Yes I know they are blurry there was some setting wrong on the camera making the shutter speed really slow that I was not aware of at the time. I will get better ones soon.
That was the target a piece of drywall about 50 yards away big holes are potatoes little holes with orange rings are golf balls and round big holes are caulk tubes.
Nice clean golf ball hole took the paint i put on the balls right off lol.
Aww poor tree. lol. I shot the drywall and heard this loud crack and I look behind the drywall and see a 2 inch deep hole in the tree.

| thanks dude the paint job does look nice but it was really windy when i painted it and like 10 degrees out so there are some spots that you can see the primer through because i didnt coat it even butyou can only tell if you look close |

I cant believe i beat JSR to saying it, but you need to cut down you pilot volume... shorten the hose to the blowgun.
also, there is so much dead space! Thats alright, there are people who believe in it (im not included) but all in all very nice cannon. |

dead space is fine but I would cut down on the pilot volume a little if I were you.
All in all very nice cannon as sjog said you did well on the paint job. |

i forgot to add this in ill do it latter but you guys are proly wondering where there is that bit of pipe thats painted grey in front of the sprinkler valvs its cause the male adapters from the 1 inch elbows are the wrong size i will eventually remake that whole back piece some time but then i have to repaint uhg but its all good and the hose is that length so when i hold it its comfortable in my hand and its already destroys everything i shoot it at and the hose has to bend down like that rather then connecting the valves straight across because then my 3 inch barrel wont fit i could just trun the valves upside down but i don't feel like it and the 3 inch barrel i just shoot like soda bottles and stuff they don't go far though. ohh and i no theres no paint on the top of the sprinklers i had to remove the epoxy to move the elbow and it actually is sealed air tight but im going to put epoxy back on it just cause i want it to be safe and does anyone have an ideal pressure because i shoot at 90 psi every time is that too much or can i go higher?
sorry for writing like a book there srry haha |

| Nice paintjob, although I don't usually like having a paintjob on my cannons because the paint looks bad when it is scratched. |

Doing some modeling in GGDT, dead space is actually a good thing in some cases. For my new SCTBDC valve, 50 ci of dead space will actually end up giving a few hundred foot pounds more than 15 ci (but a few hundred ft/lbs is peanuts when you're in the 12 000 + range to start with).
Good job with the paint on this, I've never really had the desire to paint any of my creations - somehow it makes them seem rather inoccuous (if that's even possible ) |

| Thats a GREAT gun, one thing you might want to to is lower your pilot volume by shortening the hose, and modding the blowgun a bit to increase opening speeds, but man, thats a better paintjob than I'll ever get. |

lol, everyone is fixated on your pilot volume problem, but w/e. I'm not gonna critique your gun...just compliments from me...

First of all, that paint job is killer
Second, i love the design, though the pics don't really show off the gun as much as they could
Third, I admire the quality and neatness of the gun, there are soooo many people who just put everything together because they just want it to work, but you (and me) are one of those people who likes everything to be neat and professional looking to an extent to where people question whether you really made it or not. It gives the gun personality and reflects its creator.
Job Well Done!
