| I have noticed a strange occurence when on spudfiles. It is extremely annoying, when i am on spudfiles and some one has posted a link to somewhere else on spudfiles (ex:links for cannons on favorite cannon contest) and the link opens in a new window, my Internet shuts down on me 99.9% of the time. Anyone have any clue on why this happens? |

| No idea, but before clicking on the link, right-click it and select "Open Link in new Tab". Then its a separate site/address within the same window. |

or to do the same thing you can click the mouse wheel on the link. That also opens it in a new tab.
Edit: Are you using Firefox? If not, then use Firefox. That is the first thing that I would do. |

This sounds like a browser issue, since links on the forum here do not have the "target=blank" attribute, which would cause links to open in a new window.
What browser are you using? Internet Explorer? Firefox? Something else? It sounds like a setting needs to be changed somewhere. |

Right now im using internet explorer i know its not the best. I am going to change soon if i can. The problem though seems only to occur on spudfiles strangely enough. I have tried all of the different Tab, window, open, ect. but have had no luck Any more ideas wonder where Pete is. |

| Opera is the best I think. The mouse gestures make it king in my opinion. A flick of the wrist gives you forward, back, reload, new page, etc. For instance, hold down the right mouse button and swipe to the left to go back, right to go forward. Reload, move the mouse up and down. You can make tiny gestures too. Not to mention, opera is pretty customizable, as is firefox. And its pretty fast. And by default your session is saved, and there is a thing called speed dial which shows in a preview window up to 9 of your fav websites at once when you open a new tab. You just click and tadah. Widgets can be fun too. |

| I had the same thing happen, I figured some sort of code for IE got messed up or deleted for some reason. I switched to Firefox and haven't had a problem since, so just change browsers |
