Hmm... I'm already beginning to see a pattern here 
I too chiefly listen to Death Metal.
I started out with Cannibal Corpse and Six Feet Under 4 years ago, then moved to the technical side a bit, with Death, Vader, Monstrosity etc.
But this year it's mostly been Brutal Death Metal, like Deaden, Malignancy (which I recommend) and Mortician. Plus a bit of grindcore for fun like Excrementory [censored] and Shy crap.
Yet my playlist is quite diversified, ranging from Massive Attack and Portishead to Pink Floyd, then Muse, then Obituary etc.
I'm also a big fan of Tool, Dream Theater and The Mars Volta.
So there you have it. |

The classic stuff is good- Zeppelin, Skynard, ACDC, Def Lepard
I'm also really into death metal- Rammstein, Trivium, Meshuggah, Rob Zombie
There's also bands like Tool, Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down
I also like a little bit of Emo, like Fall Out Boy.
Tenacious D, Nirvana, Sum 41, Creed are all good bands.
I also like country a lot, but nothing can top my country tastes like Johnny Cash.
I guess you could say that my tastes in music are well rounded. |

OOPS, i stand corrected, the Sex Pistols are the 1st punk band, remember Johnny Rotten/Sid Vishos, what ever his name was. |
