Hey, I just made myself a spud gun with 1 1/2 diameter barrel. What is a good thing to shoot out of this? (Please don't reply with metal projectiles)

Thanx

Well there is the Good Ol' Potato!

Oranges, Mandarines... Fruits, Tomatoes, stuff like that.

You can also make a Ketchup baggies balls.

The possibilites are infinites!

Also you should tell us if it's Pneumatic or Combustion.. cause with Combustion you cant shoot things like Ice.

Alright, I would like it to be reusable and not a fruit that costs 3$ each.

Reusable? well if you built a powerfull gun then thats going to be hard, because almost everything(nonmetal)breaks on impact. Oh and potatoes are 10 for one dollar, and they are effective

A great reusable ammo is a rock or something (decent size) with a shop rag taped to it.

pull the skin off of golf balls that have a solid core. They are kind of loose in the barrel so some wadding is required.

Someone already suggested a marble, however I think it would be better (and this is what I do) to get a plastic shopping bag, twist it up, fold it over itself until it's about 5-6cm long, then cram that down your barrel making a very tight fit. Pump up your gun and when you're ready to fire, drop a fairly big marble down. Make sure you aren't aiming where it could bounce around and hit someone.
