| I bought a cannon recently from Spudgun Technology Center. (It took a little while to arrive, but I finally got it) I think many of you know that the business is for sale and he is no longer able to make or repair guns. It is the top of the line C02 model and with supra valve, etc. Anyway, it cracked while using it last weekend and I am not mechanically inclined to fix it so wondering if someone out there would be willing to fix it for me for a fee. Let me know and thanks. my email address is mpparadise@msn.com. I can send picture of area that I need fixed for anyone who is interested.

| Like carlman said, post a picture. It might be a trivial fix that folks on the forum can talk you through.

well at least its not on the super valve
best thing you can do is lop it off behind the cracked part and build that part again
even if you epoxied it the strength would be copromised

| Any one accepting this offer is doing so at their own risk! Spudfiles and the staff are not responsible for any part of it.

Why is this a sticky jrrdw?
Since he's offering a fee, I think it could go in the Classifieds as a 'Service' since he's paying someone to fix it, which isn't much different from paying someone to machine something for you.
@Marty,
If you spend a few days here at Spudfiles, we could link you to some good topics and you should have enough knowledge to then go and buy the fittings and repair it.
Hell we probably could link you to the fittings you need on www.mcmaster.com
All it looks like is a 4" coupler with a 4"x3" bushing with a male threaded adapter.
All you need to do is unscrew the chamber from the valve, cut the chamber of from the coupler, sand the paint off the chamber were you're going to glue. Prime and glue the coupler and chamber, stick together, and then do the same with the other fittings.

Yeah, like Carlman said, best thing you could do is just take a hack saw to it just behind the crack and rebuild it. It would save you money as far as just buying some replacement parts and doing it yourself rather than sending it to somebody and paying service fees.
Anyway, hope ya find a solution!
nice cannon btw (even though you bought it). Considering a paint job?

| Let us know if you still want to pay someone to rebuild it, or just do it yourself. I'll move it to classifieds if you want to pay someone.
