Once again, im sorry. Ive been trying to mod this valve and nothing seems to work. I can get the chamber to hold air, but cant get it to release, i have know idea wtf im doing wrong. So ive come to the conclusion, its not me, its the valve. Is this valve even "mod-able"? Btw, this valave DOES have flow control, if that has anything to do with anything. Heres pics, lmk what you all think? If it is "mod-able" where whould the blowgun be and why? i have tried the blowgun, but no success.
If anybody wants more picture, let me know and ill post more. thanks, and sorry for being a newb |

| Does it work with the solenoid???? If so, find out where the little valve the solenoid is connected to is, and mount your exhaust valve there. |

| Have you tried using the solenoid? I'm sure it says 24v AC, But I've heard guys on this site say three 9v batteries would get it to work. Personally I don't know but that's what I read. |

| I havent tried the solenoid. I want to make it so its air actuated, and not electrical. |

| Im pretty sure thats some sort of anti-siphon valve, and they suck for air cannons if they even work. I have never used one personally, and ive never seen one like that used to my knowelege |

| I know you want it air-actuated, but the valve may be faulty. Try it with the solenoid, and if it works try and mod it. |

| I think you should stop wasteing your resourses and get a regular sprinkler valve used for cannons. I'm not saying that this valve cant be modded or that it wont work at all, just seems your beating yourself up unnessisaraly(sp). I got mine from www.bcarms.com and it works well. |

im not wasting my resources, i just happened to get a valve that isnt modded as easily, or at all. So what, i got the wrong valve, its just money. Ill go get an inline and use that one. Its not a life or death situation. |

It's cool, i'de like to take a hands on try at getting this valve to work. I'm gonna keep my eye out for one. For the year or so that i've been here i've never seen anybody else try useing one like this.
A challange to all spudgun builders, if you have the resourses/means to get one and get it working.
Then if you do it, let us know how, and how you figured it out. |

| I got that exact valve, too. We have been talking about it for awhile, and neither of us can figure out how to mod it! Claybob, have you tried just finding a fitting to put in the spot where the solenoid usually goes? If you just replace the solenoid with a blowgun, it should work... I think... I hope you get your gun to work, I have seen your paintjob, and it is awesome! |
