how-to: awesome darts

Unread postAuthor: FishBoy » Tue Jun 10, 2008 11:19 am

Ok, I have received many requests for a how-to on making these darts, they are fast, accurate, and extremely effective.

6- When everything is dry, take the dart out of the vice & unravel the back so it looks like this & your done!

5- Take your thread and wrap the front of the flash minnow body material so that it is secure. Then, with your thread, put several half-hitches around the wraps and then coat them with clear nail polish, super glue, etc.

4- Cut a small section of the flash minnow body material and carefully slide it over the back of the nail like this-

3- For these darts you will need this flash minnow body material, or some other similar material

2- The first thing you will need to do is put the point of the nail in the vice, and put a few wraps of thread on the back

1- Ok, the first things you will need are some some small, sharp, thin nails such as these

very nice write-up. I've already made 3 using your how-to, but instead of using thread, I used shrink-wrap.

5/5

Great little "how to".

I must try this, but with concrete nails.
