The pipe nipple is 1.25" x 6" (the reducers bring the overall chamber volume to 13 cubic inches), and the ball valves are 1/2". The gauge reads from 0 - 100psig.

Why? My current method looks good and is extremely solid. I cannot move the chamber or the propane bottle when pulling on them with as much force as I can exert with my upper body.

Looks nice, how does the longer barrel go in increasing performance, any readings or damage pics? I like how everything is together now. Good job

I decided that my 86" barrel was too long for practical use, as it was nearly impossible to aim due to sagging and bending issues, so I removed the shorter piece that I had joined to the original barrel, which brought the length down to 48 inches. This gives me a C:B ratio of ~1.17:1.

Ammo usually consists of darts, which utilize 3.5" long, 1/4" diameter nails as the tips, and paper cones filled with hot glue. I also fire shotgun rounds, filled with either airsoft or steel BBs.

I honestly didn't see an increase in performance when I extended the barrel. It only increased the hassle of setting up and aiming the launcher.

The darts are 9.5 grams each, which gives me a velocity output of around 800fps with a 4x mix, and a muzzle energy output of around 200ft/lbs.

The damage caused to objects by this launcher is immense. A shotgun blast of 20 airsoft BBs blasted a hole clean through 3/8" plywood, and put a large dent in the 3mm thick steel can behind it. Nail darts penetrate cleanly through both sides of a disposable propane tank. A steel bolt completely penetrates a 2x6 and a sheet of 1/2" plywood.
