HGDT questions

Unread postAuthor: FishBoy » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:14 pm

#1- what is ignition number?

#2- I heard that if you make a volumetric meter, it's a major PITA to do the calcs, but can't you use the tool on hgdt to do them for you?

*sensless edit* Woohoo! new rank!

1) Number of spark gaps.
2) Yes, you can, but HGDT is relatively new, so it was a PITA before then.

1) as above
2) yes, but you can use a manometric meter for hybrids (not sure about combustions) where you put in a certain PSI of air and fuel for vertain mixes, it gets rid of the pipe on the side and the calculations.

(i have a word document written by spudfarm on manometric meters, PM me if you want it emailed)
