Interesting, it does seem like it would be easier to meter properly at higher mixes.

i may have to throw together some random fittings I have as well, I was fiddling with HGDT and found I could get some pretty impressive results with a small hybrid.. and I like the looks of yours and the idea of a small handheld, portable one.

Well it still would not work. I will look for a new gauge as soon as possible.
It did turn out to look pretty good but work horribly bad.
I think I need to redesign the entire meter to get reiable results with mini hybrids.
What I am thinking of now is to create a propane meter that consists of just a tee fitting with a gauge and a ball valve on and then have a seperate one for air.
This will take the propane that is in the meter and gets pushed into the chamber by the air out of the picture.
Hmm, I will get my arse in gear and make the meter now I think :)

Well so i rebuilt the meter and it gave good results. I now have one meter for air and one for fuel.
The problem turned out to be that the old meter had such high volume compared to the chamber that it messed up the mix by making it to rich. I feel stupid that I didn't build the meter like this in the first place.. It is really simple, cheap and reliable.

I fired five shots at 5x today and the only misfire I had was at an attempted 10x since the quick connect on the gun is worn out and leaks at high pressures, up to 6bar it works flawless.
I did hold the gun while firing it two times but the third time I got shocked into one arm and out the other, it's not a good feeling :p

I am sorry about the focus problems and bad camera angles in this video. I haven't got a tripod for the camera and in the lightning conditions I where shooting it is hard to see if I have a good focus in the viewfinder.

The stock mounting will have to wait a bit, I need a stock first.
I won't use the stocks I already have guns mounted in since I have to cut out pieces of it to get the space needed to change burst disks.

I will chrony test it tomorrow and find out exactly what I am dealing with.

Edit: I planned to chrony test it today but I did not want to take it out in the rain so I just fired some candles at some old game covers. I took some high speed footage but it doesn't look good under 60hz lightning.
Enough said.
