Have you modelled your hybrid with these different projectiles in HGDT? I'm just curious to see what velocities and muzzle energies HGDT thinks you're getting; even if the results are a bit exaggerated.

Some playing around with the GGDT range tool and a lot of approximations later, I got a maximum range of about 3.5 kilometres :D

Yep - you can get a good one for less than 100 euro.

Random sidenote, this fires a projectile not unlike your aluminium tube slugs :D and the the translation is right, the tip is from an arrow head...

I just bought arrowheads arc, they are stainless steel!
Very sharp!

It depends on what you want to do. Low, medium and high weight projectiles could all be ideal, depending on the application.

we'll see against the profile!


Looking forward to it :) that over the speed of sound should do pretty well by virtue of its weight.
