Yes, one thing you should pay attention to is the reading on the gauge when you open the meter valve - if for example the final pressure is 6 bar, then it should go to 6 bar. If it doesn't, then your volume calculations must be off.

BBQ ignition or flash, I have two ..

Heck, try them both ;)

I will do this test manometer at home, just with air.
I have a very accurate manometer and with a screw for adjusting the needle, maybe he should not remove 1bar ...
I do this today!

I just tested, I put 10bar air, 2bar bp, and when I open the meter valve, pressure gauge indicates 9bar!

I do not understand anything!
I can increase the volume of the chamber or that of the meter, I always have a difference of 1 bar with the final pressure ...
example:
MIX10
Air: 10.18bar
bp: 2bar mano
after valve opening manometer meter: 9.2bar

Help !

Sorry, french guys.

Merci copain !
Tu es sur "patator.frbb.com" ?

Yesterday I put the gas first and then the air but removing the meter to fill with air so all the gas does not go into the room, the larger the diameter of my little flexible.
Here I will try keeping my baseline and I'll inject air through the meter like that all the gas will be in the room ...
Thank you buddy!

Firing results of this pm:

MIX10 3.5% of BP, piezo ignition:

I am startled by the noise, there was quite windy but hey that's low ...
60mm plywood were crossed anyway

For cons:

MIX10, 6% BP or piezo flash => flop

Mix15 3.5% piezo or flash => flop

may be that the chamber was not quite purged after the 6% and that's what has malfunctioned the Mix15 ...

At home I checked I still had the spark in the chamber and not worry so it was a mixture of worry

HAHA finally! I bet it was much louder than the video suggests :)

Did you identify the problem you were having in the beginning?

I was 5m from Thorjack and without ear protection, the sound was not louder!
I am very surprised, because the power is present.
I put in first and then the BP air but I have not disconnected the meter so that air passes through it and takes with him all the BP in the chamber.

Hard to explain, it could be that your mix is not so efficient, or your burst disk is bursting at low pressure.

I put in first and then the BP air but I have not disconnected the meter so that air passes through it and takes with him all the BP in the chamber.

Ah I see. The crucial point is identifying the point where the fuel cannot go back. If for example you use the regulator to increase the pressure until it goes up to the right level, you know that it is a one way valve past which no fuel can return.

How does the power compare to your pnematic?

the disc resists 50bar, I tested it.
the regulator is non-return so no problem.
Withoutloss is the most powerful to 60bar, the Elurick also ...

I can not exceed the pressure of 4 bar with bottle BP, is this normal?

Flash (2 capacitors) :

Brilliant!

Have you managed to get it to fire at any higher mixes?

Thank you!
I already wanted to solve the problem of misfires.
I know now that my electrodes were too far apart.
I made a larger meter to shoot at Mix30 not exceed 2 bar of BP.
Tomorrow, a shooting barrel with Mix20.
The flame is strange I think ...
