http://www.backyardmetalcasting.com/index.html

They've got tons of info on metal casting. And even more on furnaces. And by the way, you don't need an air pump. It has something to do with having a venturi. The fuel will come out of a jet, mix with air and propel itself into the chamber. Much like a torch head. The only problem is you need to find carberatuer jets, or small drill bits specifically for drilling gas jets.

I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

yeap, this is nice though cus i can also use it with charcoal.

Bump!

Boo yah, success. I cast a solid aluminum golf ball. We have quite sandy soil around here so I sifted it and made a mold. after about 7 tries, presto.

I think you should try to use Fnords way to make a mold. His gives the finished product a much nicer smoother surface. :D

But i dont want to look up the link :) , im too lazy. I think i want to mkake something like this except it will be a smelter, so i can make a cannon ball eventually.
