rebar steel ammo

Unread postAuthor: c19o » Mon Feb 18, 2008 10:39 am

Here's the rebar steel "dart" I shot it at the microwave in this topic:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/shootin ... 13191.html

I simply drilled a hole in a golfball the size of my rebar and stick the rebar in.
It's best to shoot from up close so it don't go sideways, but when it goes in your target the golfball slips off and you can reuse it again.

It kicks pretty good and even better if you sharpen and harden the tips. :D
I just need to find some metal to weld on for fins and I'll be set.

rebar fits very well in 1/2 inch pvc but my cannon isn't strong enough to launch the rebar but a high powered copper one would probably work well.
