Hose Spray Gun

Unread postAuthor: clemsonguy1125 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 10:47 am

I was considering using a hose spray gun on a air gun but was hesident about the pressure. I have seen several guns on the site using it to pilot a piston valve but wasn't sure about it. What pressure would it be safe to use it up too.

Those aren't made for high pressures, nor are they made for pneumatics.
Why may this fail (and trigger your gun prematurely):
-The can't handle a lot of pressure. (Maybe some brands can, but I advise against using them)
-They are made for water, not for air. Air is much thinner and will leak.
-Some of them may be pushed open by the air pressure, depending on how they work.

Grab a blowgun and be safe.

Hmm fixed it. Maybe the link was too long.

Well I wouldn't use them. Unsafe and should be avoided when you can.
