Seems pointless to make that remark. What would anyone do with a SCUBA compressor except build a 200X hybrid?

Holy schnat... uh, I'm not planning on making a hybrid... I know a hybrid can turn a tin can inside-out, but I want to stick to pneumatic and see just how far I can push a large piston.

I have a rough design in my head for the valve cluster, a 4.5-5 inch cup-shaped piston piloted by a smaller piston, in turn piloted by a simple push-button valve. I have a few other ideas, including playing with the shape of the piston face and using a velocity stack inside the tank, that I want to run past another engineer friend... (Come to think, it's odd how many of my friends are engineers...)
