1" nail dart

your right nails i s a p.i.t.a. to get wax without breaking though unless you know the secret :wink: (hint it has to do with heating the nail up and then sticking it though the wax) ....hope no one figures it out from my hint

the nose doesnt always need to be lighter than the tail. this is what i use for my ballon gun and some minis and it goes close to 35 yards. its just a tooth pick and electrical tape.

well from what i know they had to be, do they spin during its flight trajectory? i suppose its because the tail has more drag than the nose

yes and 99% of the time its a perfect spiral. and i guess thats why im getting such good results with these darts. and i will soon be making industrial darts for big combustions and pneumatics.

could you use a light wood instead of cork? get dowel, or shape something on a lathe? or what if you used foam from a boogie board or something? or what about even styrofoam instead of corck?
